The design of this Unistrut is industry-standard (senior strut, or 1-5/8″) and used in many other applications. After my conversation with the founder and CEO Tabb Buel where we discussed The Lift in greater detail, he explained that the only thing they’re doing with this piece is adding a few extra holes, so you can mount it on the wall along with having some good stopping points.
